Who this covers

This policy describes how Llama Laser ("Llama Laser," "we," "us") handles personal information when you browse llama-laser.com, create an account, design a product, or place an order. It is part of our Terms of Service.

What we collect

• Account information. Your name, email address, and a hashed password (we never store passwords in plain text).
• Order information. What you bought, your shipping address, and order history — needed to produce, ship, and support your orders and to make reorders easy.
• Uploaded artwork. Logos and artwork you upload are stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS S3) so we can generate your proof and engrave your order.
• On-device logo cache. To make designing faster, the product page keeps a copy of your recently used logo in your browser's localStorage — on your device, not our servers. You can clear it at any time using the control on the product page, or by clearing your browser's site data.
• Support messages. Anything you send us through the contact or quote forms.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection — we never see or store full card numbers. We receive only what we need to fulfill the order: a confirmation of payment, the amount, and billing details Stripe shares for fraud prevention and receipts. Stripe's handling of your data is described in its own privacy policy.

Email

We send transactional email (order confirmations, shipping notices, account messages) through Resend, our email delivery provider. If you opt in to our newsletter, we send occasional product news; every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing never affects transactional messages about your orders.

Cookies & analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to run checkout. If we deploy analytics or advertising tags, they will honor a consent banner: non-essential tags will not load until you consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time from the same banner.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that make the store work — AWS (artwork and file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and shipping carriers (name and address on your packages) — and where the law requires it. Each provider is bound to use your data only to provide its service to us.

Your Texas privacy rights (TDPSA)

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas residents may:

• Confirm whether we process your personal data and access it;
• Correct inaccuracies in your personal data;
• Delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you;
• Obtain a portable copy of your personal data;
• Opt out of targeted advertising (we do not sell personal data or profile you for significant decisions).

To exercise any of these rights, email orders@llama-laser.com with the subject line "Privacy request." We will verify your identity using the email on your account and respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if the appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General. We honor these requests for residents of other states with similar laws, too.

How long we keep data

We keep your artwork while your orders are active and afterwards for reorder convenience — so your next run matches the last one exactly. Uploads attached to abandoned, never completed orders are periodically purged (we target roughly 30 days). Order and payment records are retained as long as tax and accounting law requires. You can request earlier deletion of your artwork or account as described above; we may retain what the law obligates us to keep.

Security

All traffic to the site is encrypted in transit (TLS). Artwork files are stored in private cloud storage accessible only through short-lived, signed links. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your personal data we will notify you as the law requires.

Children

Our store is for business buyers and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
